For the last 6 years or so I have bought all my gasoline at Superstore gas stations. It has saved me a lot of money. Not only does Superstore often sell gas at slightly cheaper prices than other gas stations, it also provides its customers with an incentive – they give you Superbucks to redeem at Superstore. The amount per litre that you get back in the form of Superbucks varies depending on the province you live in.
Every time I fill up, I make sure to use my PC Financial debit card. I only use my PC checking account for one purpose- to buy gas. There’s no cost to having the account and Superstore gas stations will give you more back per litre in the form of Superbucks if you use either a PC Financial debit card or Mastercard.
So, when I get gas, I usually get two to three dollars back in the form of Superbucks that I use towards buying groceries. Unfortunately you can’t redeem Superbucks at the gas station, but you can use them to buy almost anything you want at Superstore, and because I buy the majority of my groceries at Superstore, the Superbucks really do amount to a lot of savings.
No matter what you buy, it is important to know that you are getting the best bang for your buck. Companies will compete for your business by offering various incentives. In my opinion, Superstore does a great job in winning my business by giving me free money to use for groceries. I know that many other gas stations provide incentives as well, but so far Superstore has been the best for me.
