A few weeks ago I had the greatest time with two of my girlfriends. Right after work we went to the cheap theatre and saw a matinee chick flick. Amazingly, the movie only cost us $1.50! It was so cheap because we went on a Tuesday and it was a matinee. Matinees are always cheaper and most movie theatres offer discounts on Tuesdays. In order to avoid the temptation of buying over-priced popcorn at the theatre, I ate a granola bar at work before we left and that kept me satisfied until the movie was over.
After the movie we went to a Japanese restaurant where they offer a half-price sushi menu on Monday and Tuesday evenings. The sushi was great and the bill came to only $10.00. I ate more than enough to fill me up and we all enjoyed the food and the environment. It was a great way to relax and catch up with each other’s news.
Girls Night doesn’t have to be expensive. There are a lot of ways to have a great time without having to spend a lot of money. Ask around and do some research online to find bargains in your area. Go out on the nights that offer the best deals and make use of coupons and special offers whenever possible. Watching movies and eating at restaurants can be expensive if you are not careful, but there are creative ways to get around these expenses while still enjoying a night out with the girls!
