Many people think that if you and your family decide to make green choices you will end up spending more money. And in some ways that’s true. For instance, if you insist on buying only organic produce in the grocery store and not at more affordable places such as farmer’s markets, then yes, you will spend a lot more on groceries.
There are times when you luck out and find a great price for a hotel or motel online and it turns out to be nice. We have had that experience a few times while traveling. For instance, for about $40 we ended up staying in an Extend A Stay hotel that had a beautiful kitchen, etc. On the other hand, we have also had some really bad experiences with paying so little for a hotel or motel.
In Hill Harper’s book entitled The Wealth Cure, the author used a number of quotes. I jotted down the ones I found entertaining, inspiring or thought-provoking so I could share them with you. I hope you enjoy them. Here they are:
