What Are Your Priorities?

If you want to be successful in life, both in your achievements and with your finances, it is important for you to define your specific priorities.  It is very hard to achieve anything or to save money if you don’t know what your goals are.

Everyone has priorities, whether they are aware of them or not.  If you had to tell me off the top of your head what your priorities are right now, would you be able to come up with a few right away?  Some people’s priorities include providing for their children, saving for retirement, advancing their career, etc.

Are You Living For The Weekend?

Do you find yourself living for the weekend?  Are you just going through the motions week by week and counting down the days and hours until the weekend?  If so, you may need to consider looking at other employment options.

Tired Of The Status Quo? Consider Living On A Boat

We all have our own ideas about life and what it is supposed to be like.  We often expect everyone’s life to be pretty much the same, following the status quo in a certain sequence – get an education, get a job, get married, have kids, and then eventually retire.  But not everyone is satisfied with the status quo.

Take for instance, Captain Keith.  He and his family decided that they wanted to live on a boat at sea rather than continue with their humdrum life.  Although living in a boat is certainly not appropriate for every family, so far it seems to be working well for his.  Apparently it is a really inexpensive lifestyle that gives you freedom you have never dreamed of.
