Have you ever read an ebook? If so, then you know just how simple they are, right? It is because of this that you should be writing a kindle ebook. The nice thing about ebooks is that you write them once and they will continue to pay you for the rest of your life.

Research The Category – When I say research your category I am talking about the category that you plan on publishing your book under. The reason you do this is because you don’t want to write an ebook in a category that you know you will have a difficult time getting up in the search results. Just know that you won’t find a category that has no competition, however, you can find one with very little competition.
Know Your Topic – It is imperative that you know the topic that you plan on writing about. If you don’t know your topic, then you need to take some time to research it and make sure that you show your expertise in the ebook. The reason I say that you need to know your topic is because buyers have the ability to return the ebook if they don’t like it. This is where you might get a lot of sales and just as many returns.
Write With A Purpose – If you plan on writing in order to teach somebody something new, then make sure you convey that in your writing. Same thing goes if you plan on writing just for fun or for entertainment purposes.
Ask For A Review – Did you know that the more reviews that you get on your ebook the higher it will appear in the search results? Most people don’t know this and that is why I recommend asking for a review at the end of your ebook. It might not do much, however, it only takes a review or two in order to move you from the top 100 to the top 20 books.
